Rosacea is an inflammatory disorder that causes facial skin rash, blotchiness, telangiectasias, burning sensation, pustules and pimples on the skin of the cheeks, nose, chin and forehead. It is a chronic pathology that appears most often in middle age and in varying degrees. The underlying cause of rosacea is unknown but there are several factors that favor its development or worsen, such as skin type, genetic heredity, hormonal changes, diet, sudden temperature changes, sun exposure, stress, or some drugs… According to the patient, treatment to control this disorder may be based on minimizing the causes that provoke, drugs ( antibiotics and tetracycline derivatives ) prepared topics, therapy with laser or intense pulsed light.
