mesenchymal stem cells
Stem cells are those that originate all cells in the body regenerate and repair damaged tissues. When people develop a small portion of stem cells they are residing in different tissues when needed. Adult stem cells or mesenchymal stem cells are present in bone, kidney, heart, adipose tissue, etc. In fact fat is the major source of mesenchymal stem cells.
The treatment is done in two stages. The first is to get the liquid or fat in which there marrow stem cells or bone defined area. The sample is sent to a laboratory that cultured for 3 weeks and follows a selection process to expand those cells and generate 40 million stem cells will be transferred to the patient.
