Bleeding disorders
Coagulation disorders are a group of conditions that cause heavy and prolonged bleeding following injury. People with bleeding disorders bleed longer than normal and some may have spontaneous bleeding into joints, muscles or other body parts. Hemophilia is a bleeding disorder and affects approximately one in 10,000 people.
