Restless legs syndrome
Restless legs syndrome, known by its acronym SPI (or acronyms in English RLS) affects about four million people in Spain and characterized by strange and unpleasant sensations in the legs caused as a result of a neurological disorder, symptoms to increase their involvement in patients with stress. Anyone can suffer although RLS usually occurs more frequently in patients with diabetes, Parkinson's disease, kidney disease and iron deficiency. Furthermore, due to its symptoms, it causes akathisia, urgent need to have legs in constant motion, with inability to keep still. Although there is no cure for this disease, treatment is aimed at reducing stress in order to contribute to muscle relaxation.
