The rash is a rash consisting of basic lesions that appear on the skin. There are different types, depending on the color and texture as well as presenting the cause which provoked. The most common are: contact dermatitis, which appears as a reaction of skin contact with certain products (from soaps, to materials such as latex or rubber); seborrheic dermatitis, a harmless rash that occurs with red spots and peeling, especially in the face and trunk, usually caused by stress or using lotions or soaps with alcohol. Besides, there are numerous causes and conditions that have in common the appearance of rashes: childhood diseases such as chickenpox and measles; herpes zoster virus; psoriasis and eczema; insect bites or reactions to certain drugs. The treatment for rashes depends on the cause that provokes it, and can be seen from creams to oral medications.
