Microdermoabrasion
What is microdermabrasion?
Microdermabrasion is a technique that is done to have a younger, softer and cleaner skin. With this procedure, the skin is renewed naturally, helping to eliminate scars and reduce wrinkles.
Why is it done?
Microdermabrasion is a non-invasive aesthetic procedure that removes the most superficial layers of the skin. It is similar to peeling but less aggressive. This reduces fine lines and wrinkles, improves stretch marks, reduces hyperpigmentation and enlarges pores, reduces signs of age and sun, and increases circulation to achieve healthier skin. This treatment does not require recovery time.
What does it consist of?
It consists of promoting cell regeneration, increasing collagen production and elasticity. To do this, a sweep is made on the outer layer of the epidermis and the skin is polished with tiny points of diamond or aluminum with which imperfections, wrinkles and blemishes generated in recent months are eliminated. In this sense, it is possible to improve the consistency of the skin, give it a more clear and pink tone and a softer touch. Normally the treatment lasts between 35 and 40 minutes.
Preparation for microdermabrasion
Before submitting to a microdermabrasion treatment the dermatologist can indicate creams to prepare the skin, which will apply up to 48 hours before. In addition, it is important to perform the treatment with clean skin and no traces of makeup or dirt.
Care after the intervention
After treatment with microdermabrasion it is important to apply a soothing cream and sunscreen.
