Eventration

A hernia is the output of an abdominal organ (typically intestine) through a hole in the abdominal wall, which may be weakened by previous surgery. The hernia manifests itself in the form of lump or deformity under the skin in the scar, which closed poorly by bleeding, abscess or uncontrolled efforts. In general, a hernia does not cause symptoms, but over time may enlarge and cause pain during exercise or after eating. The main complication arises when the body is throttled by the orifice through which comes out and cuts the blood circulation, in which case it requires immediate surgery practice. The intervention can be open or minimally invasive by laparoscopy, and consists of the reintroduction into the abdomen and externalized part in reinforcing the wall that contains it (with their own fabrics, mesh or prosthesis).
