Embolism means embedding a foreign body or plunger (blood clot, fat droplets ...), which travels through the bloodstream through the vessels, until it enters one of its dimensions lower caliber cause clogging. As a result, ischemia occurs in the area of the affected vessel. There are several clinical forms of stroke: ischemic stroke, in which the obstruction affects a cerebral vessel and is manifested by a more or less severe symptoms of stroke; pulmonary embolism, pulmonary artery occlusion which may result in non-functioning part of the lung, or in severe cases the instantaneous death; embolism of central retinal artery, which can lead to blindness in the affected eye.
