Alopecia

Alopecia is excessive hair fall which causes baldness. It is caused by three main factors are heredity, age and male hormones. It is usually triggered by the presence of high doses of dihydrotestosterone in the blood, which in women is in short supply, so it is a disorder that affects mostly men. For alopecia, treatment may vary depending on root causes (androgenetic alopecia, alopecia areata, or caused by stress or other disorders). Anyway, the most common treatments are nutritional supplements or as systemic drug (finasteride) and topical (minoxidil, lotions and preparations). In some cases, patients also opt for hair transplantation.
