Achondroplasia is a disorder in which bone growth is the most common cause of dwarfism. Achondroplasia generates a morphological alteration (formation and growth) in bones that causes numerous complications. The main symptoms are arched feet, decreased muscle tone, prominent forehead and a very marked difference in the size of the head relative to the body, among others.
