Hyperhidrosis is a pathology in which the patient sweats excessively and unpredictably. According to specialists in aesthetic medicine , it is usually given by emotional situations such as stress, fear, shame, etc.
This condition is treated with micro-injections of Botulinum Toxin type A (Botox) since they block the acetylcholine receptors by inhibiting the stimulus that produces the secretion of the sweat glands.
It is an effective treatment, minimally invasive and without recovery period. Among the areas that can be treated are the armpits, the palms of the hands and the soles of the feet. The maximum result is reached between 7 and 15 days with a treatment duration of 6 to 8 months depending on each patient and dose administered.
