This has changed the vision of hair transplantation, since today, the most important hair transplant is not hair removal (as in the classic method of the strip or FUSS), but hair implantation.

The implantation is the most detailed and traditional process where the transplant of hair grafts is completed. The density of the hair transplant is fundamental when evaluating the results.
The average density of mestizos is between 60 and 90 follicular units per cm2, while the density of Caucasians is 90 to 120 follicular units per cm2.
The key to obtain a high density, is the implantation of dense packing grafts, in which each graft is transplanted manually and one by one on each micro incision, with specially designed instruments to avoid damaging the vital structure of each hair graft.
The Implanters are a small pen-shaped instrument that was invented by a Korean doctor, Chul Choi, in the 1990s. The implanter does not damage the surrounding follicles, veins, nerves or collagen, which are essential for capillary growth and, in addition, facilitates maximum density, since the incisions are minimal and allow maximum approximation of the inserts.
With the Implanter we control:
• The angle of hair growth
• Depth of the implant
• The distance between the implanted hair
• A natural density (we can implant up to 80 hair follicles per cm2)
The FUE technique with implanters is an innovative hair transplant technique that allows better natural results for people suffering from alopecia.
It must be taken into account that although extracting the follicular units is relatively easy, its implantation is a meticulous task that requires the experience of a hair surgeon.
The FUE hair transplant technique can significantly improve the appearance and self-esteem of patients with alopecia. Even so, it is important to bear in mind that this process can not create new hair, but that all it does is to transplant the hair from the back of the patient to the front of the scalp.
