Carboxitherapy
Written by:What is carboxitherapy?
It is a technique in which we inject CO2 under pressure with what we will achieve an increase in the oxygen that irrigates the tissue and this will lead on the one hand to the synthesis of collagen, that is to say, that the elastic fibers will increase, which will help us fight the flaccidity , and on the other hand, when injecting CO2 under pressure, we will be able to break the rasas cells, therefore, the destruction of adipocytes and this will lead to a thinning.
How is carboxytherapy applied?
It is applied by injection. With a very fine insulin-like needle, we introduce CO2 into the epidermal tissue, thus achieving a vasodilatory effect, which will irrigate that area more and increase the synthesis of collagen.. On the other hand, due to the effect of CO2 pressure, we will achieve the destruction of adipose cells, and therefore a thinning effect.
What aesthetic uses can we find in the treatment of carboxytherapy?
The aesthetic use of carboxytherapy at the body level can be to combat cellulite; also, if we stimulate the synthesis of collagen, it fights flaccidity; At the facial level we get a very nice lipating effect and surprisingly it is also working very well on stretch marks since it regenerates the fibrotic tissue.
How many sessions are necessary to achieve the desired effects?
At corporal level we will need approximately 8 -10 sessions. At the facial level, the number of sessions is reduced to about 4 separate sessions of one month or so.
Is any type of recovery necessary after treatment?
It is not necessary, the only thing we recommend to the patients who undergo the treatment to drink a lot of water the day after it is done and if they are smokers who do not smoke for approximately 2 hours.
