Donating eggs: altruism and solidarity from woman to woman

Each year in Catalonia, Spain and the world many children are born thanks to the solidarity and altruism of many women who donate their eggs. Without the donor it would not be possible. In fact, one out of three treatments of Assisted Reproduction occurs through egg donation.

Today there are many programs to publicize egg donation but also to give recognition to these women who selflessly donate their eggs.

Egg donation, a resource for couples with difficulty conceiving

The current situation is that there are many women and couples who are unable to have a child naturally, and only another person can compensate for this deficiency. Although there have been many advances in science and medicine, without a donor could be no life, and here lies the importance of women egg donors, and that enable other women to realize what they want most: to be mothers.
