The spirit of our ophthalmological unit was created with the purpose of providing the highest quality of care to our patients, being a place of maximum recognition in the treatment of pathologies of the macula, retina and vitreous.
We serve patients throughout Spain and Europe, also have a significant increase in patients in the Arab world, including Arab Emirates, Egypt, Yemen, Sudan, Morocco, etc.
The innovation and the implantation of the most innovative techniques, now make us dispose of a Zeiss microscope latest technology, incorporating a OCT dynamic. The OCT is a high resolution scanner also allows direct vision to the fabric, which gives us the microscope, the possibility of knowing what is in the tissue in depth, which gives us the scanner, increasing surgical accuracy thus in all cataract surgeries, cornea, glaucoma or retinal macula. At present, there are only 3 of these microscopes in the world and we are working and collaborating with the Zeiss home for clinical and technological development of machinery.
Our scopes of treatments covering all disciplines ophthalmological, Eyelid and Schedules, anterior pole, with the implantation of lenses for vision correction for distance and near, refractive surgery for the correction of myopia and astigmatism. Likewise glaucoma and diseases of the cornea, are treated in a specific manner. In any case, the retina, the macula and associated pathologies are the most prestigious field where our center has acquired both within and outside our borders.
Our spirit of constant improvement makes us better go to conferences and meetings in our specialty, to bring all the technology and new treatments, where pioneered treatments for macular, both from a medical point of view as surgical.
The research also form part of our activity. Our professionals involved in national and international clinical trials, which commit us to the scientific advancement of our specialty, both in the field of the anterior pole and in the posterior pole.
