The possible pathologies range from disorders of the voice and of the motor aspect of speech, to those of swallowing, orofacial motor function and those of hearing, in the sense of the ability to communicate. The objective of this speciality is the rehabilitation of affected faculties and to provide patients with sufficient capability to recover said affected faculty.
