A diet for children should be balanced, delivering food into five meals and following these principles: to present fresh and varied products daily (vegetables, milk, meat ...), including the intake of five fruits and vegetables a day, predominate cereals and whole grains instead of refined, not abuse fried and cook whenever it can be steamed or grilled, avoiding "junk food" and precooked, and control the consumption of sugary drinks and sweets. If the infant feeding is not appropriate, the child may develop certain cardiovascular diseases, or suffer overweight and obesity.
